Istanbul, TURKEY – Economy class seats of the first Airbus 321neo ACF of its fleet of Turkish Airlines has produced and delivered without any delay by the first and only Turkish aircraft seat manufacturer TSI on 30th May.
The new design Epianka seats, which were successfully delivered for the first time, received full marks from the controls carried out by the Airbus and EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) with zero errors.
While the new design Epianka is considered as one of the best reference applications in the sector from project development to delivery, Airbus has been thanked to TSI Aircraft Seat officials for their hard work and successful cooperation within the scope of the project.
TSI continues its design, engineering, production and R & D activities in its new facilities located in Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport with its 88 people. It manufactures airplane seats with EASA and FAA powers, and seats are used in Airbus A320, A330, A350 and Boeing B787, B737 and B777 aircraft series. TSI has achieved great success by reducing the delivery time of its competitors to 16 months, and by providing the necessary support to domestic suppliers, it has reduced its dependence on foreign suppliers and works with 80% domestic suppliers.
